• Roderick is een projectmanager met een duidelijke (eigen ontwikkelde) aanpak, waarmee hij in staat is de hoofdzaken van de bijzaken te scheiden. Zijn aanpak is uniek ten opzichte van projectaanpakken die ik ooit eerder heb meegemaakt en de effectiviteit en de efficientie die dit met zich meebracht in het project was verbazingwekkend hoog. Roderick communiceert gemakkelijk op ieder niveau, recht door zee, zacht op de mens, hard op de inhoud. Wat mij ook opviel is zijn kennis op het gebied van (cyber) security. Hij verdiept zich in de materie en maakt zich deze eigen. Complexe security projecten zijn hem zeker toevertrouwd. Hij is namelijk niet alleen projectmanager, maar creëert ook de onderdelen die missen voor de mensen in zijn team. Ik ben graag (ook in de toekomst) onderdeel van zijn team.

• Roderick is a very professional Project Manager who takes pride in what he does, has great project management acumen and can deliver his projects on time and within budget. Roderick can also step outside his role as purely PM and can act as an additional voice/sounding board within a project where some guidance or advise might be needed. I have worked with Roderick on many security projects within T-Mobile and he has played a significant role in bringing our security maturity to the next level. He will be greatly missed.

• In my role as testmanager for KPN Mobile innovation projects, I had the pleasure to work with Roderick during one of the those projects. I’ve got to know him as one of the finest project managers I’ve met so far. I’ve seen him managing multiple projects at the same time (and could not catch him dropping any significant ball in the project we’ve been working together on), calmly providing excellent leadership and some professional toughness when necessary. • Roderick has been my project manager while working as a lead designer in a large telecommunication project for more than a year. He turned out to be a very communicative and capable project manager, despite the hectic environment in which we were operating. His intuition to sense where extra attention is needed within the project was well developed. He also makes sure the project team members are not bothered by ongoing escalations so that they can continue their work efficiently. Don’t get fooled by the impression he is ignorant on a technical level because he turns out to be well informed and capable of joining any technical discussion while keeping the responsibility to the architect and designer. Finally, Roderick knows how to use humor to create a good atmosphere within the project team. I look back on a nice and successful cooperation with him.
